Bought this camera for our church to do live streaming and it has worked out great. I purchased the bundle that had an extra battery and professional microphone with it. The mic has worked great so far but we are trying to tie the sound into our sound board so when streaming and recording we will get the best sound possible. The audio quality on this camera is horrible. sitting 5 feet away, talking in a regular voice, requires the TV be turned up all the way in order to hear anything being said, and it's still marginal. The auto focus mode waves in and out and takes way too long to stabilize once it does know what you want to shoot. Customer service at JVC is a joke. The regular call center can't help with the most simple of questions. So, they transfer you to one guys voice mail...
This camera has a beautiful image, I take it into Wirecast for church services and stream out to Facebook live. I love the ability to access the menu from the same streaming computer, without getting a ladder out, to change settings on the screen of the camera.
as of 6-7-2020 only used a couple of times to stream, would be nice if manual or jvc website outlined what software or apps to use and how to create over lays and screen graphics not much info, so far it's a great camera.
So many awesome features, combined with mappable buttons make this camera a dream to use for a variety of applications. Awesome product!!!
I purchased this camera solely to livestream to Facebook. Facebook recently updated streaming to only allow RTMPS which this camera does not support. This camera is very picky about which WIFI/LAN adapters you use so initial configuration can be extremely frustrating if you don't have compatible gear. As far as the picture/audio/control quality goes, it is a decent camera. I would have preferred to purchase a better camera for the price and use a dedicated external box to handle the live streaming. JVC told me they are working on an update but no timeframe was given as to when the RTMPS issue would be resolved.

This will come in handy when we need to burn the recordings to DVD for those that dont have FB or YT or know how to use either one. Another nice feature is the lower third graphics and the ability to add a logo. So I have the church logo on the screen and the preachers name as well as the current verse hes preaching from in the Bible so people watching can keep up and read along, For the purpose we need/wanted I dont know if I could have found a better camera that takes the headaches out of live streaming as its built directly into the camera. Plus with the ability to do the lower third graphics our videos look professional and it didnt break the bank or require a bunch of hardware.

I don't know if he knows anything about cameras, because 3 days later, he still hasn't returned any of my calls, and doesn't answer the phone when you call him. I talked to regular customer service and they said they know about this problem because they get complaints about it regularly. Bottom line, save your money for a camera that has good sound and good customer support, because this one is not it.
