This B&H Kit combines a pair of JBL 306P MkII - Powered 6.5" Two-Way Studio Monitors with a passive monitor controller, a set of isolation pads, and a pair of premium XLR cables to create a professional monitor setup for engineers, project studios, and broadcast facilities.

The JBL 306P MkII - Powered 6.5" Two-Way Studio Monitor is a bi-amplified reference monitor with next-generation drivers, offering high detail, precise imaging, a wide sweet spot, and a remarkable dynamic range to enhance the mix capabilities of any modern workspace. The magnetically-shielded 306P MkII features dual 56W Class-D amplifiers, which power the 6.5" low frequency woofer and woven-composite 1" neodymium tweeter. The combined output of the woofer and tweeter offer a frequency response of 47 Hz to 20 kHz with a peak SPL of 110 dB.

The monitor features JBL's Image Control Waveguide technology for accurate audio reproduction and JBL's Slip Stream port design for improved bass response. The 306P MkII is equipped with a boundary EQ for controlling the low frequency response when placed near a wall, as well as a 3-position HF trim switch. To ensure flexible connectivity, JBL included a balanced XLR input and a balanced 1/4" TRS input, both of which feature dented level control. Other features include a selectable input sensitivity switch that ensures compatibility with a range of signal sources. The JBL 306P MkII ships with a power cord.

The cable is engineered to be durable and provide protection against EMI, RFI, and static noise. Premium Performance 3000 Series cables are made from 24-AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. The 95% dual-spiral shielding makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrik XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.

The PMC-II Passive Monitor Controller from Senal is for anyone using powered monitors that needs a precise and easy way to control monitor volume. Featuring XLR/TRS combo inputs as well as TRS stereo mini-jack inputs, the controller is compatible with a variety of professional and consumer audio equipment, and it can be used anywhere a separate volume controller is needed.

Designed to be inserted between powered monitors and a computer, a sound card, or an audio interface, the PMC-II adds the convenience of accurately adjusting your monitors' volume without having to access the computer or sound card's volume control. In addition, it is equipped with a 3.5mm TRS stereo mini-input jack and is compatible with any smartphone, tablet, MP3 player, or device with a stereo mini-jack output.

The PMC-II's passive design won't alter or color the sound originating from the computer or device to which it is connected. Built with a steel housing and solid wood panels, the PMC-II is an effective and dependable addition to any workstation or studio.

The small IP-S Isolation Pad from Auray is a monitor speaker isolation pad made from high-density acoustic foam. It is designed to decouple your monitor speakers from its resting surface by absorbing the monitor's vibrations. This stops reverberation through the desk or speaker stands, therefore preventing unwanted resonance. Removing these unwelcome vibrations results in greater depth of field, tighter low end and transient response, and a higher level of detail across the frequency spectrum.
