About This Product
The LXW-B upper hatch enhances attic ladder functionality by providing insulation and protection against attic dust and debris. It features a 1-3/8 in. thick insulated door, a weather-seal gasket, and a piston-assisted opening for smooth operation. The upper hatch box height is 7-3/4 in. The maximum ceiling thickness must not exceed the attic ladder frame height plus 6-5/8 in.; for thicker ceilings, the LXN-B Box Extension is required.
