Interfit Unleashes Compact 320Ws Honey Badger Studio Strobe

Featuring a small form factor and lightweight, the Honey Badger 320Ws 2-Light Kit from Interfit contains everything the traveling photographer needs for studio quality lighting on the road. The kit contains two 320Ws Honey Badger flash heads, each with a pop-up 24x24" softbox and a 7.6' light stand. The flash heads have a wireless receiver built into them, and the kit includes an S1 15-channel manual remote that controls triggering, modeling light, and ready beep at distances up to 320'. It all fits in the included kit bag.

Name after a small ferocious animal with a deceptively wholesome name, the Honey Badger 320Ws Compact Flash Head from Interfit has a space-efficient 5 x 5 x 6" form factor, weighs just 3 lb, and contains some impressive features. The light boasts a 7-stop flash power range that can be adjusted in 1/10 stop increments and a 60W LED modeling lamp that is the equivalent of 300 tungsten watts and can be used manually or set to output proportionate to the flash intensity. The modeling lamp has a 5600K color temperature and is flicker-free for use as a video light. Recycle time is a fast 1 second at full power and a fraction of that at lower power. Flash durations are correspondingly short - as quick as 1/900 second (t.1) for freezing action at peak moments.

The Honey Badger has a built-in wireless receiver that accepts signals from a separately purchased S1 manual or TTL transmitters that can not only wirelessly trigger the flash, but control power level, modeling light, and the beep indicator for full recycling. The light has a Bowens S-Type front accessory mount making it compatible with the many manufacturers that produce products with this mount. The Honey Badger also has a built-in pop-up softbox ring that makes for very fast setup with the included 24 x 24" softbox. Lightweight with a small form factor and impressive performance, the Honey Badger is hard to beat.

Compatible with the S1, S1a, and Honey Badger and all cameras, the S1 Manual Remote for All Cameras from Interfit has 15 wireless channels to thwart interference from other radio systems and supports 8 distinct groups for control of multiple light setups. The remote can adjust power level, modeling light, and full power beep indicator at distances up to 320'. It uses the 2.4 GHz frequency and supports a maximum sync speed of 1/250 second. While the remote runs on AAA batteries, there's also an AC power option for more permanent setups.

Interfit S1 Manual Remote for all Cameras

The S1 Manual Remote can be powered by AC power using the micro-USB port on the side of the remote, eliminating the need for replacement batteries and disabling the remote's auto-shut-off functions. This is especially useful for long-term or permanent camera fixtures.
