Constructed of solid pine wood, the bunk bed has thick 3.25 inch hardwood posts and seven heavy duty solid pine slats on the top and lower bunk that will support a mattress without needing a bunkie board. A sturdy ladder is built-in allowing easy access to the top bunk. As your children grow, the bunk beds can be detached to convert into two separate twin beds for versatility. Each bunk has a 400 lb. static weight limit. Mattresses not included.
