Charging time

Your Oura Ring Gen3 can take 20-80 minutes to fully charge, depending on its current battery level.

Battery level in Oura App

You can check the battery level by tapping the battery icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Home home tab.

Charge level before going to bed

It’s important that your sleep ring be charged to at least 30% before going to bed. If your battery level isn't at least 30% prior to bed, you’ll miss out on your Sleep insights for the night.

Connect with USB C

Connect the USB cable to your charging dock and plug the other end into a power source, such as a USB wall plug, laptop, or power brick.

The LED will pulse white while your smart ring is charging.

Learn about the notifications

When the LED turns green, your ring is fully charged. You’ll receive a push notification from your Oura App when charging is complete. This also applies for low battery notifications.

Troubleshoot your charger

If the LED doesn't light up, check to see that your charger’s cable is properly connected and your ring is positioned correctly, ensuring good contact between your ring and the dock.

The USB charging power cord is intended to be supplied by an external 5Vdc supply that complies with IEC 62368-1 standard.
