Since different coffees and brew methods require different water temperatures, a home brewer needs complete control in order to perfect recipes. Simply press down on Stagg EKG’s dial to turn the kettle on and twist the dial to set your goal temperature. With a 1200 watt quick-heating element and a unique PID sensor system, Stagg EKG’s to-the-degree temperature control lets you select the exact temperature from 135°F to 212°F. The base also has two switches to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit, as well as a toggle for HOLD mode to keep your water hot for 60 minutes. To engage the Brew Stopwatch on the high-res LCD screen to time your pour-over, press and hold on the dial. A counterbalanced handle and fluted spout tip make imprecise pouring a thing of the past.
