This is truly a hybrid lens series - each VCM lens has consistent length and width*, and consistent placement of manual focus rings. This consistency simplifies lens changes for video users working with rigs or other support devices. It features a manually-adjustable Iris Ring, allowing critical video users smooth manual aperture adjustments if desired.

  The RF14mm F1.4 L VCM has a rear filter holder for attaching a sheet-type filter behind the lens. Attaching a soft filter in the rear holder, which is closer to the image plane, makes it possible to shoot point light sources around the edges of the frame without distortion.
