Joe Duplantier's Signature San Dimas Style 2 HH solidbody electric guitar is designed with a less-is-more approach. The nato wood used for the guitar's Style 2 body sounds much like mahogany but is readily available, keeping the guitar's price more manageable. The non-flashy finish extends to the guitar's Fender-licensed headstock. And body binding gives the Joe Duplantier San Dimas Style 2 guitar just enough pop to look like a serious metal machine.
To get his pummeling guitar tones, Duplantier chose to go with a duet of Duncan Designed HB-103 humbucking pickups in his Charvel signature model. The HB-103s deliver plenty of output for your high-gain tones while remaining tight and clear sounding. And the single volume knob and 3-way pickup selector makes finding the right tones for your rig as simple as a flick of a switch.
