The technological advances we have made over recent years and the experience in not just designing drivers, but also building them in-house, presented us with the unique opportunity to launch the SPEKTOR series of very reasonably priced speakers. All featuring several of the company’s core technologies, each model lives up to the exacting standards we demand from all our products, and the SPEKTOR 2 is no exception. Despite being officially classified as a compact speaker, the SPEKTOR 2’s copious inner volume helps to deliver additional low-end performance, allowing it to really bring the bass when required. Featuring a woofer larger than that of the SPEKTOR 1, at 5¼-inches, and a 25mm soft-dome tweeter, the increase in overall sound makes this the compact soundmaker of choice for larger rooms where a smaller footprint is still favoured. Exceptionally adept in any speaker position, be it front, side or rear, the SPEKTOR 2 provides fully immersive sound to bring that much more to any music or movie experience.
SOFT DOME TWEETER
The dome tweeter offers best-in-class resolution with an extended frequency response, wide dispersion and low coloration. The tweeter is based on an ultra-lightweight weaved fabric, which weighs less than half of the market standard (0.056 mg/mm2).
LOW SIGNAL LOSS
By using only DALI designed and custom-built drivers, the need for frequency correction in the crossover is eliminated. This enables us to design an exact crossover which together with carefully selected quality components ensures that the signal loss is close to zero.
WOOD FIBRE CONES
The OBERON woofer features a wood fibre cone with a blend of fine grain paper pulp, reinforced with wood fibres, which creates a stiff, light-weight and well-behaving structure. Creating unfiltered sound with high accuracy.
AMPLIFIER FRIENDLY
The amplifier friendly design makes the SPEKTOR series a perfect fit for almost any of the amplifiers in its price category. No matter if we look at compact Hi-Fi, stereo amplifiers or surround receivers, SPEKTOR will bring out the best in them.
