HydroFlame wrap strip is a high performance highly intumescent flexible wrap strip that is designed to expand when exposed to heat. Wrap strips are intended to be used around combustible pipes and insulated pipes as a solution to seal off these challenging pipes in the event of a fire. When wrap strip activate and intumesce due to heat, it will form a robust char that will seal off the opening around the penetrating items or will close off completely the annular space that is exposed once combustible pipes melt away to prevent the passage of hot gases and flames to migrate to the other side of a fire rated assembly. Tested in accordance with ASTM E814, UL 1479 and CAN/ULC S115 test standards.
