The insulated KNIPEX insulation stripper has a prismatic blade for use on single, multiple and fine-stranded conductors with plastic or rubber insulation maximum 13/64 (5.0 mm) diameter and 7 AWG wire. The knurled screw and lock nut provides an easy adjustment to the required diameter of solid or stranded wire. The insulated multi-component handles meet ASTM F 1505, IEC 60900 and VDE specifications up to 1,000-Volt.
