Kurzwell - KM88 MIDI Controller 88-Note Keyboard

The Kurzweil KM88 MIDI Controller is a high-quality keyboard controller equipped with 88 fully weighted Real Piano Hammer-Action keys, well suited for professional musicians and producers. The front panel features six programmable buttons and a data slider, as well as a joystick for pitch and modulation. The rear panel offers two 1/4" switch pedal inputs and a 1/4" continuous controller input for an expression pedal. A 5-pin DIN MIDI output allows you to connect directly to hardware synthesizers, sequencers, or MIDI interfaces.

The KM88 connects to a computer via the USB cable and works with free desktop editor software that allows you to quickly and easily create numerous multi combinations comprised of up to 4 zones including program change, key range, and controller mapping. Additionally, the software allows you to configure a host of virtual controllers per zone including 9 sliders, 9 knobs, and 9 switches. There are 8 factory multi settings and up to 120 User multis for custom setups.

The controller is USB bus powered, but it can also be powered by an optional DC power supply. The KM88 ships with a sustain pedal switch, a USB cable, and a music stand.
