About This Product

The 40V max XGT Brushless 9-1/4" Circular Saw with Guide Rail Compatible Base combines efficient cutting with the convenience of guide rail compatibility. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers 4,000 RPM for fast cutting performance, with constant speed control that automatically applies additional power under load for optimum performance. It offers 3-3/8" of cutting capacity at 90° with bevel cut capacity up to 1° left and 60° right with positive stops at 22.5° and 45°. It features a die-cast magnesium base, blade guard, and blade cover for lower weight at only 10.4 lbs. with battery (battery sold separately).The convenient guide rail compatible saw base interacts with optional guide rails to provide perfect, dead-on straight or bevel cutting without the need for an adapter. Combined with a guide rail (sold separately), the GSH03 is a more portable option over a table saw for a range of cutting applications.The saw also features Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS). AWS uses Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on/power-off communication between the tool and an AWS equipped dust extractor. The saw has an electronic brake for maximum productivity and soft start to suppress start-up reaction for smoother start-ups and longer gear life.
