Second, the Element features a two section center column which gives you versatility when choosing a working height, especially when vibration is a major concern. Third, each leg features three independent leg positions which are engaged by a spring-loaded lock, allowing you to position each leg separately on uneven terrain. Additionally, the Element Small includes a dual-lock, Arca-type compatible ball head. The dual-lock design utilizes a large, primary knob for controlling the movement of the ball and a second smaller knob for engaging the 360° independent pan.
