Because of its small and compact size, which makes it portable, the head is ideal to use on a monopod or a long shooting pole.The R1 top piece has the ability to tilt between -15, -10, -7.5, -2.5, 0, +5, +7.5, and +12.5°; the R10 rotator has 10, 15, 36, 60, and 90° detent options to create the panoramas.
