The Quantum Instruments Omicron OM3 TTL Flash and Video Light with CoPilot Wireless TTL Controller for Canon Kit from B&H provides the necessary tools for a fully TTL-enabled ring flash that can also serve as a highly viable LED light source for video applications.

The Omicron OM3 light enables both constant LED lighting for video work while also providing the ability to shoot TTL flash for still imagery, alleviating the need to switch lighting while working in both mediums. The chromatically correct LED array provides true color rendition due to its white-only light sources, which delivers a consistent, accurate 5600K color balance. Auto-tracking is also supported for video shooting and maintains an even light output while dollying during recording. Its ring light design makes it an ideal-shaped light source for product and close-up photography, as well as fashion and specialized portraiture applications. This light requires Quantum Turbo or similar battery source for use.

The CoPilot Wireless TTL Flash Controller pairs well with the Omicron OM3 and provides you with the ability to use the OM3 as a dedicated TTL flash and wirelessly link and control up to two other flash light sources or groups. This CoPilot is designed for use with the Canon TTL flash system.

The Omicron OM3 TTL Flash and Auto-Tracking Video Light from Quantum Instruments allows users to take TTL flash photos while simultaneously capturing video. A "chromatically correct" LED array – a mix of high quality white and colored LEDs – delivers true color rendition. Both the flash and continuous light produce a 60° beam angle with 5000K temperature.

Auto-Tracking for continuous video lighting adjusts the light output as you dolly in or out, over a 2 to 1 change in distance. With an optional CoPilot in your camera's hot shoe, OMICRON 3 becomes a dedicated TTL flash, and remote Qflashes are wirelessly linked with Omicron and your camera in TTL or Manual mode. The OM3 is compatible with lenses up to 3.9" in diameter and can use a Quantum Turbo battery. A mounting bracket is included.

With the Quantum Instruments CoPilot Wireless TTL Flash Controller you can control a studio full of flashes from up to 300' away from the hotshoe of your Canon camera. Not only will the CoPilot trigger them but can adjust the lighting ratios of up to three independent groups of flashes. Instead of poking away at an LCD screen Quantum gives you ergonomic, tactile dials that you can adjust without looking at them once you get used to their functions. The CoPilot is compatible with current Qflash TRIOs and T5dRs as well as older versions and any non-Quantum flash that can be triggered in Manual and Auto mode only by a FreeXwire wireless receiver. Last but not least, the CoPilot has a built-in IR autofocus assist for fast focus in low light.
