It features anti-kickback technology, which provides added control by preventing over rotation in a bind-up. This brushless high torque hammer drill delivers up to 25% faster drilling when compared to the 18V hammer drill/driver (R860012). It also features a 1/2 in. all metal ratcheting chuck for added durability and a LED light for improved visibility in low-light situations. As always, this RIDGID 18V Brushless 1/2 in. High Torque Hammer Drill/Driver is 100% compatible with all RIDGID 18V batteries.
