TEKTON 10 in. Tongue and Groove Pliers Wrench

TEKTON pliers wrenches offer quick adjustments and flat, parallel jaws that self-clamp as you apply force to the top handle. The slim, lightweight design improves access in tight spaces and reduces fatigue when working at a distance and overhead. Adjust the jaw size by pushing the domed button and sliding the handle to 1 of 13 locked positions. The push button has 4 rounded teeth that interlock with matching slots on both sides of the grooved track, creating a secure lock under heavy force. Each adjustment position has some jaw travel built in, letting you open or close slightly without changing positions. There's about 1/4 in. of travel at the smallest position and 1/8 in. at the largest. The top handle acts as a lever that pushes the floating jaw along a channel to maintain even pressure between parallel clamping surfaces. The more force you apply to the top handle, the more the jaws naturally clamp onto the workpiece. A full 2 in. jaw capacity lets you grip a wide range of nuts, fittings, and parts that would otherwise require several wrench sizes. The smooth parallel jaws can be used to pinch and bend sheet metal, and a laser-marked metric ruler lets you take a measured bite up to 28 mm. The pliers wrench has a floating steel jaw, a steel push button, enamel-coated steel handles, textured PVC-based handle grips, and a steel spring.
