TEKTON 7 in. Insulated Diagonal Cutting Pliers

TEKTON insulated pliers have insulated handles to protect against electrical shock for voltages up to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC. They are individually tested and VDE certified in accordance with IEC 60900. The pliers have a 0.9 in. cutting capacity for a variety of wire and cable sizes. Two opposing knives meet in the center, offering clean wire cuts with less effort. The tops of the handles are flared to guard against live wires and also to give your hand a positive stop to push against, allowing better control with a looser grip. The body of the pliers is made of drop-forged steel that's oil-hardened to 43 - 45 HRC and enamel-coated. The cutting knives are induction-hardened to 59 - 63 HRC. The yellow handle core is made of hard polypropylene and the red handle overmold is made of soft, grippy thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
