In conjunction, they are particularly useful in industry (machinery, assembly lines, maintenance) and automotive service (engines, bodywork, tires). Aside from traditional fitter's or ball hammers, some striking tools are specifically designed to avoid distorting, marking, or damaging the parts subject to striking.
