Now featuring automatic aperture control, this version of the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT is a super-wide lens for Micro Four Thirds Cameras. Designed with a CPU chip and motor, this lens allows the adjustment of aperture via the camera body. The focus magnifier can also be triggered for easier focusing when rotating the focus ring. The metadata will be stored on EXIF as well. No aperture ring makes the lens a bit smaller in size, and this ultralight lens is well-suited for use with drones and gimbals. The wide focal length and bright f/2 maximum aperture are also ideal for landscape and astrophotography applications, and its optical design incorporates two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control distortion and aberrations for improved clarity and sharpness. Additionally, the lens's manual focus design permits working with subjects as close 4.7" away.Ultra wide-angle prime is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides a 15mm equivalent focal length.CPU chip and motor allow the adjustment of aperture via the camera body and records all metadata in the EXIF.Focus magnifier makes focusing accurate and convenient.Like the ultralight version, this automatic aperture version of the lens weighs 20g less than the standard version, making it well-suited for aerial/drone photography.Bright f/2 maximum aperture benefits working in dark and difficult lighting conditions. Two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are featured to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations for sharper, clearer, and more color-accurate imagery.Manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 4.7" away.Accepts 46mm screw-in filters and a petal-shaped lens hood is also included.
