Originally designed for European Alpine hunters, the Dialyt 18-45x65 Field Spotter Spotting Scope from ZEISS is lightweight, compact, and built for rough use in the field. It is an attractive option for Western hunters here in the U.S., hunters in mountainous areas anywhere, hikers, and nature enthusiasts. This is a straight-viewing, rubber-armored scope with a built-in variable eyepiece. It is water, fog, and dustproof and, unlike draw-tube scopes, is instantly ready for use. Focusing and alignment sights on the objective lens provide fast target acquisition; simply position, focus, and view.
The Dialyt's 18-45x variable eyepiece provides a wide field of view at low magnification and sharp detail at long distances with the higher magnification. This spotter also features multilayer coatings and a large lens diameter of 65mm, providing high light transmission that allows for easy observation at lower magnifications in low-light conditions. The large magnification range makes it the perfect scope for mountain hunting or for observation in vast, open areas. It is simple to use: change the magnification by turning the eyepiece and focus by turning the objective. The Dialyt Field Spotter Spotting Scope fits easily into a backpack and, if necessary, can be rested on a pack or rock or leaned against a tree for further stabilization at higher magnification. This spotter also has a threaded tripod mount for lengthier periods of observation. The non-slip rubber armoring, besides offering a comfortable grip, provides added protection to the scope from bumps and bruises. It comes with a carrying strap that attaches to the caps of the objective lens and eyepiece for easy transport and optimal protection.
