AUDIOQUEST 10' Speaker Cable: For use with most receivers with more than 5 channels and speakers with 4 binding posts; solid long-grain copper and perfect-surface copper conductors; direct-plated connectors; bi-amp capability
AudioQuest Rocket 33 Bi-Amp speaker cable is the perfect choice for audio systems that employ a power amp or receiver with the ability to assign channels, or two identical power amps or receivers, driving bi-wirable loudspeakers (those with two pairs of binding posts). Terminated with high-quality silver-plated banana plugs, AudioQuest Rocket 33 is an award-winning speaker cable that boasts an unrivaled combination of performance and value — a versatile high-performance design resolving enough for high-end audio systems, durable enough for studio use, and practical enough for most home entertainment systems. Rocket 33 uses a carefully finessed combination of AudioQuest’s Solid Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) and Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors in a Double Star-Quad configuration designed to reduce distortion for cleaner, clearer, more naturally detailed sound. Further, Rocket 33 features AudioQuest’s effective Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation, and, as with all AudioQuest cables, the conductors in Rocket 33 are Direction-Controlled to minimize the damaging effects of radio-frequency noise. With its thoughtful, time-tested combination of high-quality materials and design elements, AudioQuest Rocket 33 is an outstanding choice for all types of music, movies, and listening environments.
Solid Perfect-Surface Copper and Long-Grain Copper Conductors
Solid conductors prevent electrical strand-to-strand interaction, a major source of distortion. The smooth surface of AudioQuest’s conductor metals nearly eliminates harshness and greatly increases clarity compared to lesser materials.
Double Star-Quad Geometry
The relationship between conductors defines a cable’s most basic electrical values (capacitance and inductance). AudioQuest’s Double Star-Quad geometry is vastly superior to conductors run in parallel as well as to the more common twisted pairs, resulting in less distortion.
Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System
This cable’s negative conductors are covered with partially conductive Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene, which prevents radio-frequency noise being fed back into the amplifier. The reduction in external interference results in clearer sound and greater dimensionality.
Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
Most common insulation materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and then released as distortion. With its high air content and benign distortion profile, AudioQuest’s Foamed-Polyethylene causes much less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials.
Direction-Controlled Conductors
A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors assure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly.
SureGrip 300 Silver Banana Connectors
SureGrip 300 Banana Connectors use Direct-Silver Plating over a high-quality Beryllium Copper base metal with no underlying brass layer that would inevitably cause distortion and otherwise damage the sound.
